The Dance Workshop recommends that children start their dance training with Classical Ballet Classes. These classes geared at children aged 3 and 4 years, focus on imagination, musicality and creativity. The following year, children will start to work on basic ballet training and they will be introduced to the formal build-up of the ballet class. Classes for older students are mainly syllabus oriented (Cecchetti Method) with non syllabus classes for senior students. Students in the higher grades will be introduced to complementary training namely fitness and stretching as well as pas de deux and repertoire.

Children aged 7 years and over are also introduced to Modern Dance Classes and Flamenco classes. Other than dynamic and energetic classes, Modern Dance students are also encouraged to take the examinations of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing Modern Theatre Faculty. These classes will appeal to energetic youths who enjoy modern popular music. Advanced classes are held in the evenings for experienced dancers. Specialised classes for parents and adult beginners who wish to experience the fun of dance are held on a Thursday evening.

Young adults trying out Contemporary Dance Classes will enjoy the challenge of these invigorating classes, which focus on overall fitness and creativity. The classes will be extremely beneficial to classical and modern dancers who wish to further explore the alternative way their bodies can move in space and to those interested in theatre studies.

Uniforms are to be worn by the younger students during their dance classes.
